Reewa ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Reewa mobile application and this website at reewa.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use Reewa.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use Reewa, we may collect:
- Account information, such as your email address, name, and authentication identifiers when you sign in with Apple or Google.
- Profile and learning data, such as onboarding preferences, lesson progress, quiz results, streak activity, and flashcard usage.
- Subscription status, such as whether you have an active premium subscription. Payment card details are processed by Apple or Google, not by us directly.
- Notification preferences, such as reminder times if you enable them on your device.
- Support communications, such as messages you send to support@reewa.app.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the Reewa app and your account
- Save your learning progress, streaks, and preferences
- Process subscriptions and premium access
- Send optional reminders you configure in the app
- Respond to support requests and improve the product
- Protect the service against misuse, fraud, or unauthorized access
Service providers
We use trusted third-party providers to operate Reewa. These may include:
- Supabase for authentication, database storage, and backend services
- RevenueCat for subscription management and purchase validation
- Apple and Google for sign-in and app store billing
- Cloudflare for website hosting and content delivery
These providers process data on our behalf according to their own privacy policies and our agreements with them.
Data retention
We retain account and learning data while your account is active. If you delete your account from the app settings, we delete associated personal data from our systems, subject to limited retention required for legal, billing, or security purposes.
Your choices
- You can log out of the app at any time.
- You can delete your account from Settings in the app.
- You can disable notifications in your device settings or inside the app.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
Children
Reewa is intended for general audiences learning about Islam. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International users
Reewa may process and store information in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of Reewa after an update means you accept the revised policy.
